Fun with 300 9v batteries (video)
So after my unit deployed I was tasked to clean out the barracks. It got interesting when we got to the supply room of one of them and found boxes and boxes of 9v batteries. We were told either take them or throw them away, what was I to do? Sooooo we took them and me and a buddy spent some time hooking them all up together using 0 gauge amp cable on my coffee table out back.
Do not try to do this yourself, we could have very easily been killed. Just take note of our safety equipment! (or extreme lack there of)
Sorry, not for dialup users. Also watch for a few cuss words, so no kids either.

BTW: For some reason the player will think the video is 5min long but its not. First time I've ever edited a movie and I'm crap at it.
Edit: How to download::
Click the link
Scroll down and select "Free" next to "Select your download"
Scroll to the bottom of the page you will see "Download-Ticket reserved. Please wait 41 seconds."
Wait 41 seconds
You'll see " Download: trial2.mpg"
Click the link
Enjoy
Not sure if a direct link will work but if so here it is:

I did this in Xavier University'* theater. we recorded approx 2200 volts before we put them together with bare safty cable (aircraft wire)... Lit up the whole theater, great fun, no video (it was on a whim at 1am)... by the calculations we only had 244 ish batteries... hooked them all end to end in a circle.
Sweet tho aint it Jay?
(still waiting to download movie)
