I've had a few 50 hr weeks, and this last one was getting to it with all the physical labor taking down our stand (more like a mini store with a grill, fryer, and an assortment of coolers, freezers) at vikes training camp.

But i will admit, it is nice going into work on friday knowing you're starting on OT pay already, that makes it MUCH easier..

I've worked a 40 hour week before, but that was very unusual, and it was during easter

You need a vacation!! I have some suggestions on where you can go

I use to work a 70 hour work week when I was working 2 jobs. Jeff was not able to understand why Mom was always gone. He asked me one time "Can't you tell your boss that you can't work weekends?" He was only 9 at the time. That made me feel bad but I had to pay the bills. I ended up getting a better paying job and could give up the 2nd job and NO WEEKENDS!! I haven't worked a weekend in years.

There was someone on a forum once that told us he had worked approximately 144 hours a week for a month with one day off a week, and nobody believed him. What he neglected to tell everyone is that he was a Firefighter and got paid for lunches, dinners sleeping time, etc. They were short staffed and had to do this until they found a replacement. Everyone considered him to be stretching the truth since they felt he didn't actually work all those hours although he got paid. He should have stated that he got paid for 144 hours and not actually worked the whole time.

Yup, we were working between Tucson and El Paso for our regular digs. The emergency one was in El Paso. Passed through Las Cruces a few times but we were staying in Lordsburg, NM and Benson, AZ most of the time.
