I usually play LAN, that way you can avoid idiots. And if you don't like what someone is doing they're usually in hitting range.
I've been going through Rainbow Six:Raven Shield. Wow! That is a fun game. VERY team oriented.
I played Halo for PC. I almost threw up. Microsoft did a bad job at their FPS in my opinion.
A bunch of guys in my dorm upstairs play that game all the time. They love it. I told them to play some UT2K3 with me, and it was a slaughter. They could barely even play that game. They didn't like the high amounts of action that UT has.
Halo brainwashed them.
Someone needs a new video card.
For multiplayer turn of specular lighting and the game will run much better in those shiny environments.
I'm an evil ATI user with a Radeon 9700 Pro 128meg. I used to love nVidia during the Geforce3 days, but the Geforce4 series pissed the hell out of me, and their new FX is way to fugly and loud. I think Halo is a fine game, even better as a LAN game. Speaking of, sometime SOL and/or MN you guys should come to NIU campus LAN parties in Dekalb, IL. Last year we had over 100 geeks in one smelly lunch room week after week.
