Very nice start Dan. So much space with a lot of options open to you. The space is just right for a nice fountain but that can get expensive really fast.
I like the flagstone idea as well. Makes nice stepping stones around a fountain. Throw in a few containerized planters with flowers and a nice bench you would really be set.

If you find the plastic doesn't hold up or age well, take a look into EPDM rubber. My dad used that for a couple of things and somehow I got a couple of scraps. I toss it over the woodpile and it does not ever appear to break down due to weather, freezing etc etc.
