Default Monte Carlo SS

Ok, has anyone driven one of these? Same engine (3800 Series II N/A) as the Bonneville and GP, but wider stance than the GP. Does the suspension and steering lack the agressiveness of Pontiac'* norms, or what'* the story?

Thx,

Default very nice car

they are a really nice car, great power, While I had my trofeo at chev/olds dealer 2 months ago for them to fix my window (Drivers side), which they didnt. They gave me Monte Carlo SS in hopes id buy it (lots in common with the trofeo) I didnt feel like punching it, the dealer mite have had my *** if onstar called me for going over the vehicles designed speed. comfy too.

Yea.. they're alright.. nice and comfy ( like bonnies ) but I noticed they exhibit more torque steer then my SSEI ( which has more oomph ).. but other then that no complaints.. if you're lookin for another car with 3.8.. try the Impala.. ppl may move out of your way thinkin your an undercover

yea.. that they are next year or two.. about time they caught up.. time to mount somthing bigger into our bonnies ( except up in Canada where there will be no more )

but then I personally don't like buyin fresh new car ( other then the new car scent ).. the value depreciates too much the first year or two.. I"d wait to let them work out any bugs and such, and get it at a cheaper price..

Yeah it did take Chevy a loooong time to even think about getting a supercharger in there cars. i guess they really didn't need it when the Camero'* and the Impala SS were out
What do you mean by in Canada there will be no more? Bonnie'* or The 2 Chevy'*?

Yeah, I know, 'bout time. They are coming out for the 2004 Model Year, so really any time here they should be available.

On a side note, not that it matters, a 2001 Monte Carlo SS is the fastest L36 on ClubGP...but that just happens to have a CSC on it. I think it runs something like 12.1 in the 1/4.
