Monte Carlo SS
Well guys , I striped the motor out of my Monte and out the old one back in and I'm selling it for another one !
Looking for a 86-88 Monte SS in MINT condition ! Planning to spend UNLIMITED funds on this car ! Cashing out the money market for it ! Planning the system already and that'* estimated at 30,000.00 ! Forget the GTO ! Leaving the factory 305 and am planning to get all direct bolt on parts ! What do you think ?

I've been down the monte road, I can say Honestly dont waste your time. yes, i still like the car, but the Grand National has been much more rewarding to mess with. The Turbo 6 produces SO much power with simple bolt ons that its unbelievable. If you want to go crazy and spend a lot of money on one, the GN is easy. I'd spring for a GNX right away!
I was talked out of a GN when i was younger, "that Turbo will give you nothing but prolems!" but the car i bought was questionable as to condition, and i expected to uncover all kinds of problems, but I didn't. GN is much more intimidating.

I've had the chance to get a 96 Impala and a GN but still prefer a MCSS . It has sentimental value! That'* the first car I had sex in !

I wouldn't expect that 305 to fly unless you do some major work to it, and of course what you can do to a 305 you'll have better results doing to a 350, OR go one step better and drop in a GN motor
