Bad ride home tonight
There nothing like a bad ride home to put you in a foul mood...
After I get off the highway theres one stop sign and two traffic lights between me and home covering the last two miles. they're all with 1/4 mile of each other.
At the stop sign a car full of kids smoking decide to turn onto my road IN MY LANE. <slams on the brakes & pulls hard to the right> BASTURDS!!
At the next light I get my green left arrow but a woman drinking coffee runs her red light and we nearly hit head on. WTF!
Ok - 4 blocks to go; I just gotta go straight thru this last light... nope, I actually had to slam on the brakes again to avoid some kids in another car turning left and cutting me off. I'm smoking now! 100 yards up the road a cop car passes me headed in the direction those last kids were with afterburners on; I prayed to God he was after them!
Home safe and sound at last.
