Not Bonneville related so I put it here.
Hey,
I am looking at towing with my Malibu, yes my Malibu, LOL. Just towing a small enclosed trailer I have been building to haul my Kart to the track and back.
Anyhow, it was mentioned to me that I should get an Interceptor, basically it is like a shift kit but electronic for my tranny. I do plan on putting an oil cooler so that is not a problem.
Since I am towing, the "shift kit" will help reduce the slipping and reduce the heat. I have a few options that are available, but not sure if they are good or not. B&M has an option that actually lets you turn it on and off as needed, were the other kits are on all the time and you have to unplug the harness from your tranny if you wanna remove it.
Here are a couple links, let me know what you think about them. OH BTW the B&M is about 30-40$ and the other kits are about 130$
B&M option

Other Option

Any help would be great, and if any mod or admin would like to move it to a more suitable location, that would be great also.

I was reading over at n-body.net how some people did have problems with the Interceptor, and that upping the line pressure alone is not a good way o do it. They did however say that with the interceptor kit, to NOT turn it more than 35-40% firmness, other wise it almost always chirps the tires into 2nd, hehe.
