A 1977 Chevy van. Or as my mom called it, that damn hotel on wheels. If I look hard enough, I might even find a picture of it. But that'* a van. So my first CAR was a 1984 Fiero.

A 1964 Ford Falcon . A friend of my dad'* into modified racing let me pretend to help while he ported, cammed, and put dual Holley carbs on it. I felt pretty proud wearing my Dad' oversized overall'* and getting to bolt the carb'* on at 16. As the months went by, I put chrome reverse wheels, Mickey Thompson oversized tires, shackles, dual Thrush exhaust, and the Futura model trim on it. A 4 track tape player and some oversized door speakers sealed the deal.

1964 falcon, I was going with a girl that had one, did a lot of work on it. Right up till the time she stuck it between the front wheels and the fuel tank of a train going 60 MPH. She survived. One tough car.

They were solid for an early mid size. I totaled mine sliding in a drift into a sheer rock ledge. So hard it tore the screws holding the 4 track out of a metal dash.

Dan, I cant imagine you in a Fiero. I always wanted one until I tried to bring one into a Sears Auto I worked at for a winter job. @ 6'4" and a gimp leg, it was a cramped drive across the parking lot.

1976 Triumpth Spitfire

Loved it, used to cram 4 friends into it for day trips to Starved Rock State Park.

So light my "friends" at school would perch it on top of the parking lot snow piles.
No problem , i just dug at one end till it slipped off.

Fun car I am amazed I am not dead!

1982 Mercury LN7. In the US they were called EXP'*. Weird little two seater car. My parents figured that being a two seater was a good car for me, so I was less apt to have to drive friends around!
