Subliminal messaging here. Like we don't have enough of our own problems.

To change the world you just have to start it over IMO which is IMPOSSIBLE.

How interesting. Thanks Mos, it is amazing that so many in the world have so little, and all that many care about is defense, what about helping out others???

Take away the defense and you get Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Bosnia, I could go on.......

We have a hard enough time helping our own problems such as the homeless, crime, drugs, illegal immigrants etc.

Personally, I think we spend way too much money on keeping our politicians comfortable. The President deserves a fancy car and whatnot, but why does every senator have a staff car that most of his/her constituents could never afford, more aids than you could shake a stick at, etc. Quit wasting money on creature comforts and put that towards education and humanitarian efforts.

While agreed that giving each senator a staff car is unnecessary and that things could be done to cut spending in that area, such expenses really make up a very small part of overall spending... say perhaps 1/50th of one percent or even less.

The message I get is that the creator of this short video thinks that everyone should be on the same level and we should feel guilty to help out poorer nations. The fact of the matter is we did not cause them to be poor and have nothing. We didn't start off as a rich nation, through hard work and perseverance we became what we are. We didn't have help from another nation to get us where we are. It seems whenever we do try to help other nations, we get blaimed for "butting into others' business."

Yup. Interesting to note how many of those nations have corrupt governments that STEAL FROM THE PEOPLE while the people go hungry. Somehow that is the fault of prosperous nations.
