I would say something, but why?
I love this forum, its like my second home, and I take great pride in the site as I like how we can, most of the time, get along like really good friends, as I learned when i met with some fellow members this summer, great people, let me tell you that much.

Well it just goes to show how peopel really feel, they have been keeping their comments to themselves previously since it was not the place to say it. BUT since he opened the door, well the invite was there.

On other forums they don't need that invite to say what they want, to who they want, and not care what people think. I think he is better suited at one of those forums.

Ok, let me get this straight. You are upset that we didn't keep an 'open mind' to ideas even though they were ideas that have been tried by members before, and failed? There are several members who have been here from the BEGINNING and have seen just about most of these mods executed in several different ways. We have seen what works well, and what doesn't work well. So, you're mad that you were called out when what you were doing was one of the ways that hasn't been found to be effective? What is up with that? To me, you're just upset that people weren't agreeing with you. You thought you had the best way to do it and everyone else was wrong. Although you did make some valid points to think about, when someone would say why it was wrong and why, you'd just tell them to do "whatever they want, but I know what I'll be doing. I've been on several car sites before and I love this one. I no longer own a 3800 powered car, and I rarely drive our Bonnevilles, but the hospitality and the knowledge of this site keeps me coming back to ask questions even though I'm not "one of them." (IE. Bonneville owner.) If you think ideas are "shot down" over here, I'd love to see what you think after being on another site. They're not going to care one bit about what you think, or how you feel. Over here we're not like that.

i think myself and Custom are probably some of the more out of place people here, well aside from fordboy but we dont even have 3800s anymore, and i for one come back here because its a good environment, with a lot of knowledgable people who for the most part try to help you as best they can...and another thing there is no tolerance for any kind of dirty material whatsoever, i went to...a certain forum...*cough*clubgp*cough*, when i was looking for info on my Intrigue(theyre both w-bodies) and i was appauled at some of the content there, i couldnt believe some of the stuff those guys were writing and laughing about..so thats why im still here..and ive seen your attitude optmus, weve discussed it before..and its never changed..you say you have an open mind but really you seem to think that everyone else is wrong but you...rather closed minded wouldnt you say?

One other thing I would like to add.

This thread very well could have turned real ugly, real fast, but guess what, it didn't. People are speaking their minds ( truth) and are brining up VALID points, but still being civil about it.

I have been around here for WAY too long and seen WAY to many this go in the oposite direction. That to me just proves once again how great this place and people really are.

You know Optimus things are what you make them, no one here can help you find satisfaction or peace in your life, only you can do that.

I don't know what your expectations are but this forum is just that, a message forum, you will get out of it what you put into it and personally I believe for some strange reason you feel left out or perhaps you want to be the center of attention and in a warped attempt at being so you decided to start this thread.

I think your expectations are set a little too high, you have only been a member since August of this year and you have come to the conclusion that your are not part of some "click" and even if your not, so what? I have NEVER seen any member openly ridiculed on this message board for no reason until they start making ridiculous claims and false accusations. Not every posting can be a major thread and not every posting will get responses, sometimes some posting will go ignored, it'* the nature of the beast and there is nothing you can do about it so stop thinking your being left out, you are no more special than anyone else here.

Personally I think you should just relax and enjoy what this site has to offer that appeals to you and ignore what you don't like, it really would make your participation here that much more enjoyable and perhaps help you find some inner peace in your life.

And in support of the admins here since this is their baby, I wouldn't blame them one bit for deleting this thread and banning you, they are doing their best at creating a community where people can get together and then someone like you comes along and only participating for a couple months tries to destroy what they have been building for years.

If you need to vent because you don't feel adequate or no one is paying attention to you go see a shrink and leave the rest of us alone so we can continue to have a positive experience here.

Grow up, your not the center of the universe.

Primer, I am sorry you feel this way, and that you feel that you must are not the most popular person in the club.....GET OVER YOURSELF!!!!!! You are not the world'* most important person and you need to understand that we the moderators are not here to help boost what little ego you have, plus we do not have the time to entertain you all the time. Other things do come up. And as for the "clicks" I hate to tell you this bud, on a club like this it is bound to happen. People have met outside the club, and of course those people are going to talk about things that some of us don't understand. I consider myself to be part of a "click" the WCBF click, but in the same token, I feel I have friends here from all over the club, and I am proud to say that.

We can not please all of the people all of the time. And if you are not happy here, feel free to leave at any time....really we will not mind one bit. And if you think we are going to fall down on our knees and beg you to stay after what you said......your head is full of something.....and it is not brains!!!!!

I could continue here, however, I think that most of the posts have covered my thoughts quite well.....

I'm gonna be careful because I have a special way of getting things started. I'm trying my best here.

Paul, you sorta took the words right outta my mouth. I would say roughly 1/4-1/2 of my post never get replied to, or even mention for that matter. But that is fine with me, because others have far more important things to say. I'm here, almost everyday, I read a hell of a lot more than I post. But when I do post, usually it is so I can learn more on a topic. If not, it is to try to get the ball rolling and people thinking. Often it is wrong, hence ignored...but I TRY.

Sure, there are some bad things that happen on here. SOME of the admins/mods down people, post on other names, ban people I don't think they shouldn't, don't ban people that I think they should. But it is all from MY perspective, which I only know part of the story. And this kind of thing happens on ALL forums. Around here, the admins/mods really are top notch. They keep EVERYTHING undercontrol (even when I open my big mouth ).

Again, this post may not be the best, but I tried.

We try to be fair and give people a second chance at times. Which is one reason why OptimusPrimer is still here (previously banned username to remain private).

We've recently been asked by several members to crack down and be more strict.

We also strive to preserve privacy. Which is why you may not understand why some people have been banned and others not. There'* alot that goes on behind the scenes here.
