Burning MP3 CDs
Mkay guys, I'm really pissed off here. I love MP3 CDs, you can fit a bunch of songs on them, organize them in folders, and it displays the song titles on my screen in my car...LOVE IT! Burning them is another story. It always takes me like 5 tries to get them right. This time around I have already thrown away 5 CDs because they are screwed up.
Heres whats wrong, the STUPID $*(%&$ing program puts the songs in alphabetical order. I don't want them in alphabetical order. On my computer they are in track number order, when I add them to the "project" they are put in alphabetical order. I edit the "playlist.m3u" because this is what is supposed to change the order (right?) and when I burn them, all the songs are in alphabetical order by folder.
I am so mad right now. I am using Roxio creator classic.
I have even used the fool-proof HP record now software, and it does the same thing. What the hell am I doing wrong? I am about to rip my CD-RW drive outta my computer and throw it across the room....

More or less because modern CD'* are put in an order that makes the CD sound like one big long song because they blend them together. Taken out of order it sounds really dumb.

Hmm what version of roxio on 7 you click on the playlist link under the cd in the add box and it lets you change the order either random or drag them around or highlite one and use the blue arrows. -
#never burned one so going run one through for the heck of it to see how it comes out
after test
** hmm your right if the device ignores the playlist and just looks at the CD it'* in alph order kinda dumb...
