To do? Bucket wash, car wash/auto wash or ????


I use to like washing my car at the car wash using the high pressure hoses. But, it'* waste of money and sometimes I wonder if the timers are accurate. And the magic car washes? Can't take my other ride in because of antennas, and they don't always do a good job.

So, that leaves bucket washing in the back yard. It'* fun, I can drink all the beer needed to accomplish the job, and after washing, it gets fun! Out comes the leaf blower to blow all the water off the car. Especially out of all the door jams and crevices. Kind hard to remove wax when your rag gets all wet from those areas.

Gas pressure washer and a bucket FTW!!!!

If you got squirrel under your car that needs washing, your not driving fast enough!

i vary i like to hand wash and go to the car wash mainly just to use the pressure washer to get at them hard to reach areas and the wheel and tire degreaser they have works wonders

I only hand wash the two times a year she gets waxed. The rest of the year I use my free car washes provided by the dealership I bought the car from

I don't wash mine enough but pretty anal about it when I do. I wet her down, spray everything, mixed car detergent in a bucket, rewet, scrub and rinse in sections. Chamois dry, then Mequairs Quick Detail with microtek polishing cloths...... Just to take it up my 1/3 mile gravel driveway and need a repeat before I even hit the asphalt.

I have a pressure washer and use a bucket. Spray it down, the wash it and spray it off again.

i need to invest in another pressure washer mine took a crap so i gave it away and have yet to buy a new one

New Britain is a strange town. We have six (by my count) 24-hour self-serve car washes. Half a roll of quarters, and I've got a high-pressure DIY wash and wax -- even in the middle of winter.

I think the foaming brushes are putting tiny scratches in my paint, though, so my bucket and sponge stay around for those hard-to-blast messes.

I use the high pressure and a bucket after a rain or if she'* just real dirty. Other wise it'* a bucket and garden hose in the backyard
