Just some fuel.
I have a college friend who owns a 99 Malibu. Typically whenever I work with her, she'* complaining about her car always being in the shop.
An 01' Malibu was totalled by me, per result of my 96 grand marquis being rear ended at 40 ish mph by a 03 ford explorer. I was atleast two car lengths away from it, and the insurance adjuster claims that I mangled the frame measurable in inches. I don't even barely remember hitting it, but I know next thing I saw in front of me was a malibu with a bumper hanging off lol. My front bumper was slightly lopsided, and stupid fiberglass header panel was spider cracked, but it wasn't obvious that I hit anybody until you stared at it.
