Its easier to explain the series II sound than it is a series I. The series II took off second and it has a whine, somewhat similar to a superchargr without alot of throttle, then the series I has a deeper sound and no whine to it at all and some more complicated sounds i cant explain.

I prefer the series I "motor" sound. Hell i prefer an N/A with intake roar over whining. I guess i'm an old fashioned guy...

I miss my intake noise now, can't hear it too well with that 80 series.

You'd know if I took off or drove by. Everyone in town turns to watch my car go by. And it doesn't look that great, either. Very distinctive, and bordering on 'uniquely loud'.

naw, it'* just because it'* what you own. If you owned a supercharged car then you would prefer that sound. I've owned both, and I definately prefer the supercharged sound. Sounds like it has more power (because it does!)

I like the SC whine, mainly because other cars buffs know what it is and look over instantly.
