my brothers dirtbike...has me stumped
i need some help here guys first idk what section to put this in so here it is its a little off brand 50 cc minibike and his mom brought it to me today and said "fix it" said he layed it down and now it wont start i took the carb out cleaned and rebuilt it put it back in didnt start..ok so i pulled the plug kicked it over has an amazing spark and has great ccompression???im stumped never really tinkerd on these little four strokes?dh2 does anybody have any insight or even just to point me in a direction its not crashed up the plastic is fine it was just a low speed lay er down please help me

sounds like a bad rectifier.. The stator makes the spark in a bike with kick start(no battery) however the stator aka magneto makes ac power but the spark plug needs dc power so the rectifier changes ac to dc (or visa versa, to lazy to think intently about it).
Ur stator could also be at fault. I fried the stator in my Raptor and it would still run but it would back and run poorly.
BTW.. for those who dont know... Im a certified atv and motorcycle repair tech.

okay well ill check into those tomorrow i hate to cause ive had to deal with stators on ym 650'* oh yeah and update its not a 50cc but a 90 cc
