hence matches my company colors !

the mileage is nothing really 230K doesn't scare me

Oh as I type this my truck was hauled to the garage, Crank Shaft Position Sensor....

Almost every website I've been to says that AT ONE POINT, Ford DID own 10% of Cummins Inc. But it'* been almost 10 years since then.

The Venomous take on this Balderdashery.

This thread has turned into what sounds like a Jr. High School hallway conversation. Ford Never owned any part of Cummins. It bought nearly 10% of it'* stock at one time for whatever reason. (Investment?)(Gauging a hostile takeover?) Buying 10% of it'* stock does not imply ownership or management in any way. Why the Ford interest in Cummins? Because they keep making crappy diesel engines they try to reverse engineer out of gas ones. Don't like my squawking. Show me a FORD that runs consistently over half a million miles in a commercial setting. Let alone a million miles with no major overhaul. What??? I can't HEAR YOU!!!!

NOBODY owns Cummins other than itself. It is and always has been it'* own Corporation. It has had many dealings with IH, but IH does not own/control it. As a matter of fact many deals between the two have soured.

Dodge and Cummins are in a partnership where each has treated the other with ultimate respect and Chrysler has no musings of even developing it'* own. Contracts run OUT? Where'd ya hear that crap Brian. Ever thought of actually going to Dodge'* website before you state something so ill informed. You'd find the Dodge is the only Truck maker to offer turbo diesel standard in it'* 3500 classes. And that the Cummins 6.7 they use beats out all others for torque @ 650 Lbs. Stock. Side note, This engine, that came out in '07, was designed and built exclusively for Dodge in pickups. It set Cummins back alot of investment money, Dodge has a exclusive use contract, and Cummins won't be going anywhere in the Mopar scheme of things as it recoups and profits from it'* investment.

Sometimes I can't believe the junk people read/write/believe/ and pass on with a google button sitting at the top right of their browser. I guess it'* easier and more convenient to keep your "dreams" alive and listen to fairy tales rather then take the time to search something out. I suggest someone post a credible link (Not a fraking Forum, duh) if they want to try and defuse my statements. Otherwise I'm just gonna provide mine and beat you down another peg. But until then, you do some research like I did. Maybe it will get some into the practice of doing so.....

No link because this information came from family, who when they told me also told me it may not be true, that it was more of a rumor.
