looking at a getting a second car
i am looking for a beater so that i can work on my bonneville, and not have it in running condition everyday for work...
i have been looking at like eighty eights, and other similar cars on the sides of the road, they are ok... i searched ebay tonight for a 50 mile radius under 400 and this came up
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true
i have wanted one of these since i was 16, i know they are gutless, and the trans are junk, but its not like i am the person to really talk up bonneville trans...
how much you think this will go for? owatonna is only like 40 miles from here

$1500?
Those cars are actually pretty tossable and fun to drive. Handle pretty well, although me being 6'3" my spiked hair was hitting the celing (Or sunroof ) I'd go for it, just don't tear it to bits. A 2nd car has been well worth it IMO....

Andrew, check these guys out...

My older brother had an Avenger for awhile. They're nowhere near as fast as an SSEi in the 1/4, but they are unholy fast in the twisties. There are a few routes you can go for mods if you get the 2.5 v6, up to and including swapping in the short block from the 3.0 used in the Eclipse(Same platform) with the 2.5 heads.
