Brewing beer. Going at it a bit differently this time. We used to only do a batch (case) a week. But we never made a bad batch, so we're falling back on our old recipes, and doing 3 batches a week. This way, after 3 weeks of bottle priming (4 weeks after starting the fermenting), we get 3 cases of different beers to choose from.

We started with my old keg for now, just one batch. 2 more kegs on the way.

The worst part is waiting for that first batch. Results are a month later, but worth it.

We're brewing for half the cost of our PREMIUM beer cost at warehouse prices. You can't touch that, and it'* EASY. Nearly fool-proof too. You should try it.

If I could duplicate the taste and consistency of my favorite mass produced beer (Bud Light), I might try it. I'm a firm believer in "if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself". I almost let someone talk me into buying a DIY wine making kit years ago but didn't see the real benifets.

Perhaps some more research is in order...

Go the easy way.

www.mrbeer.com

It works. And works great. They have a couple beers that may be close to bud light. And it'* all good. Amazingly good. From there, you can play around until you get it right. Alot of their stuff is on sale now.
