Default Locked car running!

So, David came over in his '93 SSEi and let it idle while we chatted in the yard. It'* idling in my driveway with the keys in the ignition. How do we get in?

I can't seem to bend the window frame out very far...

I don't think anything will go in behind the door skin...

It'* got a quarter tank so it'* not going to die soon, But that'* a lot of gas to be burning for no reason.

Try and wedge the window away and get a wire hanger down there to catch the bar that locks it. Bend a small hook on the end of the hanger to catch it then pull. You should be able to get in.

Call your local police department. They'll break into it free of charge.

We've called them twice in the past year.

I make it a point to NEVER leave my car running while shutting the doors. If I do, I usually crank down a window just so something like this doesnt happen

Cops around here wont break into your car for you anymore, they just tell you the name of a tow company that can help you out.

I tried a wedge on the window frame, it'* not working.

The sunroof is closed.

I remember there was an easy way to get in. It used a coathanger.
