That does suck.
The only thing I can say is go and "fight it" and just plead guilty but say you are sorry...blah blah blah. However, you do have to remember that you were speeding. I know my friend got REALLY mad when he got a ticket for 51 in a 35, but if you were speeding then IMO you deserve the ticket. My friend deserved the ticket definately, and when he told me it was for 51 in a 35 I was AMAZED that he was only going 51, he is always speeding...A LOT. I feel sorry for you if you don't normally speed and all, but you should be paying attention to your speed when you're driving. I know a lot of people hate cruise control on here, but it makes it a lot easier to drive around town if you just set your cruise control because then you can pay attention to driving instead of your speed. Thats what I did until I changed my topend and couldn't hook my cruise back up without buying a cable which I haven't got around to buying.
Unlike most, I use my cruise control all the time, as do both my parents. Maybe thats why none of us have ever gotten any tickets. If you set the cruise you're going to be pretty much going the same speed (yeah, it will vary a couple MPH) so you don't have to worry about going "faster than you thought." Thats just my opinion though.
Anyways, got sidetracked as usual, I hope this one ends up ok for you. I just recommend paying attention to your speed more.
