three reasons:
1. my health(which I never gave a second thought before, go figure)
2. at my cousin'* house yesterday, he served up some REALLY fatty T-bone steaks off the grill, but most relavant:
3. Today I had to make a delivery to the Aurora Meat Packing plant here near North Aurora. I was informed when I first started my job with the company that if I ever had to make a delivery to this facility on a hot, sunny day, the smell near the factory would be appauling. Wouldn't you know it, today, sunny, 85* outside, sure enough had to head over there to deliver some auto parts and the smell was PUTRED!!!!!! I COULD NOT get out of that facility fast enough!!!!!! That (along with the fatty steaks yesterday) was my revelation to stop all meat eating for the current time.

I guess you just had to be there to smell that vile, disgusting odor that was emitting from the plant. Really screwed me up.
