Default a change of plans

well, I was previously looking to buy a Bonneville, around a 1994, or a 1995 but there has been a huge change of plans. I had been driving by this Riviera for over 2 months and decided to look at it. It is a burgundy color, supercharged, a 1997 and fully loaded. The guy was only asking 5,500 for it! I checked and the KBB value for that car is $9,500! So needless to say I jumped on that deal and bought the car today. I love it already. It has every option available. heated seats, dual climate control, all leather, sun roof, memory seats, everything!

i guess I won't be joining you guys afterall which I find really dissapointing.:( I liked the atmosphere here. Again, unfortunately, there isn't a Riviera board of any kind, so that sucks too. maybe I can start my own.

88, you idiot. You're not going anywhere. That'* an L67 under your hood. Good enough for us. My boss has a '95 L67 Riv. He pokes his head in here from time to time.

Funny thing, he doesn't have a boost gauge. Did your car come with one?

After the 180 stat and tranny cooler, that boost gauge should be your next investment. No way to know the health of the blower without it.

Tell me about it :?

Custom, you will still get a lot of support around here. Like the bird man said, you have the L67 just like us (albeit a Series II).

Custom...you gotta stick around...you'll have some good kill stories in that car. You should keep the Custom88 in the avatar and the new Riviera in the Signature...that'd be cool

Oh and what are you selling the 88 for? Any offers yet? If you don't mind me asking...

ah, it'* no problem. I plan on hanging around here still. I'm asking $2,000 OBO for the LeSabre currently. It has many new parts on it.
New Alternator – 143,000
New Spark Plugs- 143,500
New Oxygen Sensor—144,000
New Tires- 145,000
New Struts- 145,000--
4-wheel alignment- 145,100
New Brake pads and rotors- 145,000
New Ignition control Module, and coil packs 145,500
New Knock Sensor 146,500
Transmission Fluid Change and filter---146,500
New Thermostat 147,000
New Fuel Filter 147,000
Radiator Flush 147,900
Water Pump 150,000
Spark Plug wires 151,000
Intake Air Temperature Sensor 151,000
Timing Chain 152,000
Timing Gears 152,000
Timing Damper 152,000
Cam Shaft position sensor 152,000
Cam Interrupter 152,000
New paint entire passenger side/hood 153,300
Also included are Infinity speakers, and a pioneer cd player.

Current mileage is 153,300

It'* a good thing I didn't transfer the plates from the LeSabre to the Riviera today.. I started the riv today and she is spewing coolant all over the garage floor. Diagnosis, the water pump is junk and coolant is spraying out all over from it. It didn't do too bad though, it still has the original and it'* at 95k miles.. I'm just dissapointed it happened when I've put less than 5 miles on it since i've had it.
