Last night I helped pull that motor out of an intrigue...

Overall they are very durable and seem to hold up well.

The 3.5 in the Intrigue is differnet than the 3.5 pushrod design in the G6.

Last year my wife and I had a G6 as a rental car. We rented it in Little Rock, AR and drove to Galveston, TX. That motor in the G6 is INCREDIBLE! Talk about quick. There'* tons of torque and it pulls great (for a Grand Am, essentially). I was impressed for the 1,300 miles we put on that car.

My daughter has the 3.5 in her G6. I was duly impressed with the overall car including the driving response and power. It'* no SCed SSEi, but then you knew that.
