not yet its in the shop now. its a boss 8ft6in poly-v XT on a new dodge 2500. our old one was a steel boss v on a 2500hd . the chevy rides so much better than the dodge and all we had to do to it was brakes. the last dodge we had was such a rot box and had so many electrical issues it got traded in early because it was in the shop so much we could use it. the new XT is supposed to have a better mount and down pressure

i think it was 5-6k installed. i got quotes for western and some others that have the chain attachment and they were as much or more and dont have the down pressure feature. they have better quick attach setups but we only attach and detach it once a year so big deal. i dont know how long it takes to install, i think it depends more on how busy the shop is especially this time of year. the one we sent it to is the biggest in the area all the other boss dealers get their stuff from these guys

i dont like the dodge. its got a way better interior but its got tiny mirrors and windshield so you cant see. as far as the plow the old boss v was already very good.they kept the good stuff but they left a few of the bad things i was hoping they would have changed like not having down pressure which the guy said it did and the new mount has the same cheesy spring that bent on our old one making it not quick attach.

i just went for a ride in the girlfriends death trap. then, gave her the keys to my car to go to chicago in. you change lanes or try to turn pretty much at all and the car barley responds at all. and when it eventually does, it slings you sideways. that thing needs new tires. desperately. its fun to do e brake turns in though. lol

Justin- Sorry to hear you are disappointed with the dodge & new plow set up.
I wish I was there, would sure like to try it out! -nice pics!

Jason-I see those all slick radials do kick out the small civic well! Nice Video!
Good on you to let her drive with a heavier car/better shoes on too!

And Sarah-Sideways blowing snow, truck not cleared, the only thing missing was a snow man on top of the hood. That would have been awesome to add!
Nice photo like it a lot~!
