The two cars that I am considering between for purchase later this year
So this is the transmission in the V-6 Charger. See the higher version rated for 1000Nm (little over 700lb-ft) of torque? Yea I want to know why the SRT8 still has a 5 speed damnit, Dodge has no excuse

The show this year was pretty good. I went to the industry preview this year. You took some really good pictures. I love the exhaust tips on the new Vette.

For a quick second, I lost all comprehension that Brian took these pics. I'm like nah, he didn't take these, these look like magazine pics. So I saved one, he sure did take these...

Because the ZF transmissions are built by Fiat for one reason, maximum MPG. The transmission in the SRT8 is built for maximum 1/4 mile track speed and dunno pulls for bragging rights.

more is not better. you only need a bunch of gears if you have a peaky engine. if it has a flat torque curve you dont need it. how many years did all the v8'* live just fine with 4?

Correct but the 8 speed would improve gas mileage on the SRT8. We don't live in the same time as when they all had 4, people actually care about gas mileage now.
