Keyless entry wiring
Hey guys, this might be an odd one for you...
My dad has a Ford E350 work van. For reasons I can't figure out, Ford hasn't figured out that it'* a PITA to go around and unlock all 4 doors by key. A while back I added an aftermarket keyless entry kit, consisting of a brain box, 2 remotes, and lock motors on each door. The problem is the remotes seem to go bad every couple months and the ebay seller doesn't seem to want to provide me another module/remote set.
So, I got thinking, could I just wire up a module and use remotes from a Bonneville or some GM vehicle? I guess all I would need is a pinout chart and a visit to the buy/sell forum . Thanks guys.

That is very possible... There are different modules that you can use.. Some of the Modules have a self contained Drivers door unlock Relay as well as a Trunk or Hatch/Rear Door unlock relay.. Along with a few other wires.... But it should serve the same purpose and most were produced by TRW In one form or another with some name changes...LOL
I would recommend Recievers from a GM that are either ABO103R or ABO104R, or possibly ABO302R or ABO303R...
But yes I would say it could be done... And if you need I can get you the keyless Module schematics for these modules.. But they can be a bit different for every car or truck..
