Typical liberal media work. Half of that was stretched truth at the very least
You have to remember that american media is liberal. And you only see the most liberal of THAT in Canada. It'* very swayed. I just watched a documentary on that very subject last night. I've watched Canadian television, and seen how the same news story is represented in both countries. It'* almost ridiculous. I don't understand why the Canadian Media twists things even worse than our own. (no offense intended to the members at all. just pointing out what I've personally observed with your media, and reminding that you aren't getting news......we call what you see 'propoganda')
Anyway, this post is off to the lounge. It'* not a vid.

One thing I do not like about american news is that same concept where American lives are SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than anyone who is non-american. Recently I think of the Tsunami coverage and how SO MUCH TIME was spent on americans dieing and not the hundreds of thousands of other people who died and what THEIR families were going thru when the whole generation was wiped out.
Same can be said for canadian and international news agencies they tend to totally over bias it aganist the us. I try to go from as many sources as possible and avoid the tv as much as possible if it is political based.
Dont get me wrong I still support america to the fullest I just think some stuff could be handled a little better in washington right now.

We've discussed this before......it is rather humorous in a way how slanted the Canadian press really is. And that'* a major reason why so many Canadians are so passionately involved in American issues.
It'* really no wonder that these views the people have of the US are the way they are, and no fences will be mended until the press changes the way they represent the crazies south of the border.
It'* also interesting that the US press doesn't inflate Canadian issues in our own media. The information is there for us to find if we dig for it, but it'* not readily offered.

The mainstream media in both countries is pretty bad. I rarely watch, listen or read anything coming from the mainstream media anymore. There has just been to many foul-ups recently concerning 9/11 and everything that followed. Everyone has an agenda.
Alex Jones (infowars.com) has really showed me some crazy stuff recently. My first reaction to him was that he was just a **** disturber trying to hock a book or something, but after many hours of going through his material and others like him my eyes have definetly been open.
