Is Kentucky the only place that has doghouses?

I’ve heard of the van doghouse but not “dog leg” or “dog ****” (have to remember that one )

A friend told me that when his parents first married, his mother said to his father
“YOU paid WHAT!!?? …. for a DOG HOUSE!!!”

She was from Michigan.

I'm from Indiana and we say "dog-house" or "front-clip"

Also when a vehicle has frame damage and drives crooked we say it "dog-tracks"

I know a dog house as where my dog sleeps and the hump that covers the engine in a van. I never have heard of it as a front clip...interesting...
