if jurassic park was so bad then why did it gross almost $360,000,000 in theaters? tenth highest moneymaking film ever.

Unrealistic or not, it was a good original movie. I saw it in theatres when it came out when I was a kid, and I loved it.

I don't think the movie sucked. It was different than the book, but I'm not one of those "purists" that demands a movie based on a book be word for word.

I severely dislike Jeff Goldbloom (sp?), but I did like the movie. The sequels, on the other hand..

yeah it was kinda aimed at our generation i believe. in other words people that are like 19-25 currently.

Ditto, awesome idea and CGI/special effects for its time. I've got all 3 on DVD, and sure the sequels aren't as good as the original... but are they ever?
