In myrtle beach, sc. I will be at the beach colony resort from march 11th-16th. Nice big place right on the beach, ocean view studio. Should be a great week. Plan on doing some swimming, some laying on the beach, and some beer drinking, and we are going to a plantation outside of charleston and then to charleston for a day. Should be a great time, it will be myself, the girlfreind, and my bro.

There is alot of stuff to do in Myrtle Beach. When you get there, go to the Chamber of commerce on I think it was North Oak street, and ask about current attractions. Oh and BTW, you better hope you got a good hotel, there are ALOT of "Palmetto Bugs" (big flying cockroaches) there.

If you golf you are in nirvana.

What do you like to do? Myrtle Beach has it all. We go every other year for a week.

Beach Colony resort is a nice place to stay centrally located.

I do not know how old you are but I will assume you are married and have children.

Here you go for lots to do.

Broadway on the beach lots of shops and miniature golf as well.

Myrtle Beach Speedway

If you are willing to travel south for lunch, between Surfside and Garden City overlooking the ocean is the Conch Cafe. Moderately priced good food and a full service bar. Our favorite lunch spot. We usually go twice during the week.

There is also a Hard Rock Cafe and a Nascar Cafe as well right by Broadway on the beach.

Night time entertainment is out of sight. All sorts of dance clubs and two theaters with live entertainment.

Chamber of Commerce

Like to fish? The Surfside Pier is nice and inexpensive. There are also head boats that go out into the ocean that do not cost a lot.

I could go on and on but you get the picture. If you have never been to Myrtle Beach be prepared for fun in the sun.

Other Stuff to do for your week at the beach.

Just north of you is an area called restaurant row and for a good reason.

River Cafe and Carolina Roadhouse have good food... 95 SLE beat me to a lot of stuff.

Lots of golf: normal, par 3, miniature. My wife'* grandparents live on one of the Myrltewood courses. It'* nice.

Murrels'* (sp?) Inlet has really good seafood.

Broadway at the Beach has fireworks on Tuesdays.

There is a minor league baseball team.
