A lot of things impact your insurance price. If your under 25 and male an SC will raise your premiums. Once your past 25 a lot of things cancel out. A SC in a sedan is less than a SC in a sports car. If you are under 25 you can hope for a company that gives good grades discounts as well as good record discounts. As an example our yearly insurance for both SSEi'* is about 950.00 total with full coverage. We are both over 25, clean records and have our house insurance as part of the plan which helps quite a bit. Also if your with a company for a length of time they will give you discounts as well (I think we have been with ours for about 8 years).

It'* really hard to say what insurance will be. There are a lot of factors that need to be looked at. Stuff like age, driving record, location, vehicle type, individual or joint insurance, single car or milticar discounts, grandfathered in to company or new(er) account, and a bunch more.

Some cars (say Pinto for sake of arguments) may be prone to theft, accidents, and expensive bbody damage. Hence these cars will have a higher rate especially if the driver is a higher risk driver (age, record, etc...).

Some cars (say Escalade for sake of arguments) never get into accidents, realatively cheap to fix, and never get stolen. Hence they will have a lower insurance rate.

It'* all about the geographical data sheets that tell them who shold get charged what. The easiest way to find out what the $$$ will be is to find a VIN# off an SSEi and have your agent run a quote. It won't really matter if it has the SC or not (SC will be more than the N/A due to overall power comparison)but the whole package.

This make any sense?

Our agent has been the same for quite some time (Eoff Insurance in Findlay, OH) however the backer of the policy used to be Ohio Casualty Group until I caught them raising our premiums after doing a "credit check" (Bastards). Since when does car insurance have anything to do with your credit history? Anyhow we dumped OCG and hooked up with a company out of Cincinnatti called Cincinnatti Insurance. We kept our agent and hence the "loyalty discount".

You may get better rates by checking with local insurance companies as opposed to national carriers, our plan with CI is well above state minimums and we saved almost 400 a year by switching to them.
