Just got a great deal on this notebook, selling old one
Toshiba Satellite a215-s4757 Notebook PC.

Just got it for $350.00 .
Was on clearance at work and sitting in lockup. It was a floor model for 1 wk, was purchased, then the lady decided to break the enter key and bring it back. No one could sell it so we kind of forgot about it. Manager brought it out today and asked if it was sellable, and I said it just needed a system recovery run and a keyboard. Then I saw the price tag and was like hey this is mine.
Now I have a $1000 dollar laptop for almost a quarter of it'* worth because it was clearance for so long, and got 10% off for it being a display model. It'* slightly faster than my current notebook (Compaq V6310), and has a much larger HD (unfortunately 4200 RPM). I wanted to just buy the keyboard for $27.00 and sell it on ebay, but I grew on it in only an hour and decided to keep it. I will call Toshiba tommorrow, ask them if they limited warranty could replace my keyboard. But, I'm typing on it now, so the enter key is workable obviously lol.
I'm going to keep this notebook and sell the other for about $450. You can see the specs @ http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...3370426&dlc=en. It'* a great notebook, but 120GB isn't big enough for my huge archive of music and random files lol. Plays Need For Speed Underground 2 without a problem, that'* something thats important to me lol. Just about every month I've taken the can of air to it to keep it clean and I've always used it with a notebook cooler. I also clean the screen/surface weekly and there'* just two small scratches on the face that aren't noticeable unless you really get down to look at it. Screen is in perfect condition, and only part that shows use is the keyboard, indicated by the shiny yet still perfectly functioning keys. Send me a PM if interested.
Either way, I feel like I finally screwed over Staples considering they paid over $800 for this notebook. YES!!!

Really?
I'm very careful with the battery. I let it totally discharge and re-charge itself at least 3 times a month. My buddy has a Toshiba he got last august and it still holds a charge just fine.

Just to let you guys know... ended up getting a keyboard replacement for free through warranty. Only catch was to get it to Elizabethtown, PA. Good news is I got my friend that lives in Harrisburg to grab it last time he was in town and take it for me. I'm selling my Compaq V6310 for $450
