Default Electric Razor... (men)

Any of you guys use an electric razor that works? I have bought 3 and none of themm seem to get close enough. I have blonde hair and can still see stuble, so I cant imagine how bad it will look if my hair was dark. I understand that nothing is going to beat the real razor, but shaving/lathering up everyday sucks. Anyone have one that works good? Model/brand/cost? Getting too expensive buying one hoping it works and turns out it doesnt. Thanks a lot.

I got a Norelco Advantage as a gift last Christmas, and have no complaints thus far. The Advantage is the kind that has the shaving gel "goo" dispenser built on... that part is okay, but it'* kinda weird and I don't always use it. I think I'd rather have a sideburn/beard flip-out trimmer built on instead, like my old one had.

Like you said, I was tired of razor shaving and was ready to go back to an electric. However, I can usually get away with shaving every 2 days as it is... unless I've really gotta look spiffy for someone. If you're looking for something REAL close, you may not be able to find it in an electric razor...

Ditto. Mach 3 is the best of both worlds. Best razor I've ever owned or used, even when compared to some very expensive electrics.

Now I know for a fact that women shave parts of their bodies... although usually not their face. :? So post away, ladies!

second that.

plus, i don't know if it'* just me, but any time i use an electric, it feels like i'm ripping my face apart. maybe I just didn't use one that cost enough, but it would just hurt, or my face would tingle for a few hours.

I have a Norelco electric shaver. I'm not sure of the model (it'* older--3 or 4 years old), but it has the "lift and cut" system, three rotating heads. It works very well and I love it. The battery life is exceptional too (I can go three weeks on a charge with shaving every other day). It also has the beard clipper on the back side.

No complaints here! It'* a nice shave that doesn't burn and is very close to the skin.

My one complaint is that it doesn't have a cigerette lighter charger. I only shave in the car on my way to work. I've been stung a few times with the battery dying on me while shaving so I look pretty funny being half-shaved when I walk in the office!
