Default Just got back from an AWESOME weekend!

Friday afternoon I left for my aunt and uncles place (105miles one way) I get there, take there little go cart for a good ride out at there litte acerage. Then on saturday, I stayed in, while they went to an auction in Edmonton, my uncle asked me if i was going to stop by any parts yards to keep an eye out for some decent tires, and If I found some, to get them for him, (1986 Nissan Stanza) 215,000 miles, and still running great. So I come across on an older Audi in the yard BRAND NEW Bridgstone Potenzas 4 all matching, tires were the exact size as the ones needed, SO I got those for him at 15 dollars a piece! like holy crap these tires are like 120+ new a piece!. I get back to there place, I get a call from my uncle, he says Hey, guess what I just bought for 600 dollars, a 1980 Pontiac Firebird Hugger Orange, 350 auto. That night we go to look at it, after keys were made for it (bank repo...no lien though) my uncle didnt even know if this car ran, we tossed a battery in it, 3 or 4 cranks later, it comes to life, runs EXCELLENT the motor is VERY clean, looks to of been rebuilt recently, the body has some rust, not alot, new tires, new brakes, new dual exhaust, and new suspsension. The car drives wonderfully, burns a bit of oil, appears to be a bad valve seal however, so thats not to bad at all. We waxed the car, that really brought out the color quite well. Pictures to come!
