Job perks
I'm sure most of us get special perks through our employers. Here'* one of mine:
Yep, these are company snowmobiles. The purchase of these was to fullfil a requirement to have access to communication sites no matter what the weather conditions. The cost was built into the bid. This means that the government paid for them but the company owns them. Today, the boss and I spent about 15 minutes working at the site and about an hour and a half exploring Mt Toby reservation.
I've only been on a snowmobile once as a very young kid. I was very surprised at the amount of power these things had. So much as to actually do wheelies when full throttle is applied from a dead stop or a low speed roll-on.
What a blast!

Our company perks involves a pretty swingin $35 000 xmas party each year, and preferred overnight rates at www.watersideinncda.com ,summer golf tourneys, and part of my job involves dealing with a lot of outside offices on our project...so that leads to free tickets etc.
No snowmobiles, but I cant complain

Oh yeah, these snowmobiles are fast, apparently some can do 12'* in the quarter... in the snow.
I've only been on a snowmobile once (as a passenger), it was at a ski resort: I was a semi-beginner - confident enough to tackle fun hills but still restricted from the REAL fun stuff. I took a turn/slope wrong and ended up doing some rolls and disorienting falls. I was perfectly fine, but I had lost one ski in the trees somewhere The nice ski patrol man took me to the bottom of the hill on the snowmobile, and went back up and found my ski
Happened in the 7th grade, my friends still bug me about it but oh man, was that snowmobile ride FUN is usually my reply

I couldn't see the displacement badging. Where they 500s? My 500SS, actually a 600, will lift the front end up at 30. The timing is still retarded as it has not fully broken in yet.
