The Mini is a great car, ever been in one?

He'* never tested a Solstice, and the Corvette has been praised for it'* performance, but not it'* road manners.

He did pull off his normal tricks though, when he was talking about the 300HP Mustang GT, he went to race a horse around a track with a V6 though, but never said a word about it.

REALLY doubt that. His problem is the chassis and the quality of the interior. A C body is exactly the same as half an H body, and the Buick interior probably has tighter tolerances, nicer materials etc.. There'* more to a car then power.

He just comes from a different culture than us. A sweet car to North Americans may be crap to Europeans, and vice versa.

I'm sure we could make a show here and rip on Euro cars all day long.

Yeah, but theres also alot of european cars that freakin rule! BMWs, SAAB (yeah yeah, GM..i know), Jaguar (yeah i know its a ford) are some of my favorites. Jaguars not so much any more..their quality has taken a steep drop since ford started managing Jaguar USA. Gee..I wonder why...

BMWs have to be my favorite car brand of all time. Sure they may cause you to sell your soul to maintain them properly, but their performance is great, they have amazing interiors and they don't look half bad. I think american cars could learn a thing or two about the quality of some european cars.

As for Jeremy Clarkson...well, I could care less what he thinks to be quite honest. Its always great to have another opinion, and I personally hate C platform land yachts too...so i dunno. But I sure don't blame our founder for going euro.

What was that thing on that t-shirt about different parts of the world?

I believe it was..

Heaven Is Where...
The chefs are Italian
The lovers are French
The police are English
The mechanics are German
And the Swiss keep the whole thing running.

Hell Is Where...
The chefs are English
The lovers are Swiss
The police are German
The mechanics are French
And the Italians keep the whole thing running
or something like that.
