Rush is OK imo..
I know plenty of good music MOS, good = not country.
Oh yeah, Clapton, Van Morrison are also in my stable already. Love BTO... How did we forget Led? I haven't gotten into the Grateful Dead much but i do like what i've heard.

Can't forget Ted Nugent. Stranglehold is one of his best tunes. That and Great White Buffalo (LIve of course).

Pick up a live album with his original band (Davey Johnstone on guitar - triple humbucker Les Paul Black Beauty Custom ) and listen to Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding.
