Just to note. 1 street away I saw this '93 Ford F-150 and it looked VERY good. I didn't notice any rust and the Interior is mint looking. It has an aftermarket CD player and its an automatic! They want $1550 for it. Has the 302 motor. Didn't see the mileage, but I'm calling about it tomorrow. Also regarding the finacing I might get a loan from my old man by the bank and pay the loan payments myself. Anything I should be weary about when I look at it?

And I also saw an 87-90 Dakota for $650. Don't know anything aboutit though except its a stick and I can't drive stick :?

The transmission. From what I've seen, Ford AOD = crap.

My mom has a 93 bronco witch has the same motor and trans as that F-150.
They last for ever if you take care of them.

I haven't been able to look at yet still. Also I got word my mom will be getting some new furniture in a couple weeks (kinda off-topic) so it could come in handy instead of paying $60 to rent a hauler...

And I'll actually have furniture up here at my place! 'cause all I have is my computer chair and one of those folding chairs u would take tailgating or camping

Yeah, those trannies are pretty durable, unlike a lot of MOPARS trannies in the mid 90s
