Copying DVD'* on home recorder
Is it currently possible to bypass movie DVD copy protection to make legal copies, on a home (NOT computer) DVD recorder? My folks got us a home DVD recorder for Christmas... pretty cool and I've already hooked up my old DVD player to my new recorder and made some copies of exercise videos and such. Of course when I tried the same with "March of the Penguins" and pressed Record, the "DVD is copy protected" message popped up and shut down the process. How can I defeat this? I have DVD X-copy on my laptop, but I'd rather use my home recorder so I can make my own chapters, keep the Special Features, and fit multiple movies on a disc.

Is that what you're looking for? It'* a product to remove macrovision (copyright protection) from the output video signal. Says it'* supposed to work for DVD to DVD copies, as well as any other combonation. Does that help?
