How do I get this out?
Okay, so I need to get the factory radio out of my Celebrity.
Just not sure how. I have replaced plenty in my day in newer vehicles, but never one like this.
I have found several screws and removed the, but could only get teh trim bezel piece off as far over to the cigarette lighter area, then it won't budge.
Any thoughts?
I really wanna get this thing out to get to the wires so I can hook up my CD Changer.

I got plenty of loose screws.
I'll look for more tonight. Was hoping someone maybe had some experience with this.
If it was up to me, the factory one wouldn't even be going back in, but well, let'* just say Mrs. Bump and I have different ideas on what to spend money on.

yea also, the black ledge under the cluster... you have to take out all those screws also.
you have to drop the under the dash cover to get to the Back of the Cig lighter.. and wedge your arm up there to unscrew the back of the cig lighter. i just got pissed and crimped the Cig lights in on its self and took it out that way

Hmmm.sounds like a project. Wish I lived closer to Boostmaster Northturd.
We know how much he likes fun projects.
Guess we know what I am doing this weekend.
Really stinks because all I really need are the constant and switched power wires.
The sound goes through the antenna, so I just needs juice.
Maybe I'll just run my own wires.
Might be quicker.

Imagine that! A husband and wife having differing opinions on automotive related subjects. Totally unheard of, I say. :P
I also think that it probably should be a clipped in pull-off trim bezel, but look up under the dash to ensure there isn't some hidden screw anywhere. Like, I'd remove the ash tray and check up under there as it seems to be a likely spot for for a fastener.
EDIT: wow, my short interruption while I was posting, took too long I guess. 5 posts later... :P
