Default G-Tech. this cant be right?

I know there has probably been a thousand topics on G-Tech accuracy, I looked in search and couldnt find my question.

But is it possible for G-Techs to be way way off?

I tested my sisters 04 Jetta with 115 horse power and got a 14.02 0-60

WTF? That cant be right can it? I was expecting at least 10

Hrm......

How many times did you run the test?
Was it run on flat ground and did you run it both ways?
Was 14.02 you average, or best time?

Did you calibrate the Gtech? Even though it says it comes calibrated, it'* bull. You need to do a hot and cold cal.

And you need the proper weight for the vehicle.

I just picked up my Hot rod where they took a Gtech vs a track. The ET'* were damn near exactly the same, with the MPH just 2-3 over the track.

I think you guys are getting ahead of yourself.... he'* not trying to calculate the HP.... he'* concerned about the 0-60 time..... incorrect weight and diesel wouldn't affect the 0-60 time.

well if its a diesel then 0-60 could be between 14.02 and "Ungodly Slow"
