I'm in shock...
Man, I knew one of my coworkers was dumb, but until tonight i didn't know the extent of it...
Not only is he thisclose to getting fired by my boss at the pizza place (who has never fired ANYONE) but today he really made me wonder about his sanity...
The kid (a junior in high school) drives a 1997 Bonnie SE in forest green metallic paint. Its previous owner took immaculate care of it, and it runs BEAUTIFULLY, it'* fast as heck, and the paint is SPOTLESS, not a scratch on the thing.
I mentioned Bonneville Club to him today, and his response-- "Why would I join? I don't like my car!!!" I asked him why, and his response..."all my friends' parents helped buy them mustangs or corvettes or firebirds.." That'* his ONLY REASON!!! Keep in mind that this kid'* parents BOUGHT him this car...
Yikes...
Sorry had to vent

I cant say I'd rather have a bonneville over say a mustang, corvette or firebird... but my bonneville (for the short time I've had it) has never let me down, runs like a charm, and has more power than most cars its age... I'd definately own another bonny in the future...

I hate/despise that spoiled little rich kid non-sense. My first car in 1992 was a 1980 Pontiac Grand Prix that I bought from my dad. Every, EVERY vehicle I have ever owned I had to buy and pay for.
I started with Pontiac, and I have ended with Pontiac and I love my Bonneville. It does'nt have the flashy rims, the supercharger, or the moonroof, but damnit, its MINE..
grrr
