Enough is Enough
Okay folks for the past few days we have been talking about the hurricane and its effects on gas prices, and how people are behaving. Enough is enough! It is time we did something!! Yes, I understand gas prices are high, but let us all be thankful for what we do have. There are people dying in the streets, children are starving. It was mentioned that maybe we could set up some sort of fund for them. I think it is time that we did something, instead of sitting in our safe, comfortable homes complaining.
If we all sent in $10, that would be fantastic....$46,100 would be enough to help people get food, shelter, whatever they needed. We could even specify what we want the money to go to, a hospital for children, retirement home, whatever. But we need someone to take this on. Now I suggest that it be someone in the States, and we could give the money to the Red Cross, or Salvation Army, but it has to be a charity that can be trusted. Please everyone, take a good look around you, you are lucky and blessed. The people in New Orleans are living in hell, and right the human spirit is being tested, it time that we showed them that we do care, and we want to help.

Here is a link to the Red Cross donation site for Hurricane Katrina.
https://secure2.convio.net/arc/site/...MPAIGN_ID=1161
When you donate, post what you donated in dollars, lets see how much www.bonnevilleclub.com can donate.
I just donated $10.00

For those people who do not want to use their credit card, or something like that, PM me, and I will send you my address, and you can send me the money and I will deliver it all to the red cross.

i say that we have the treasure person collect money (if they are not aval. we elect someone to do this). and have that person deliver it to the redcross. and i know if we can get a few grand together then it will draw media attention. like someone else said be the first car club to do this!!
does anyone have a list of any members that are from that area or areas??
