Niceguy, my 'warning' about the spamming comes from experience with forums, not by complicity. I think you know that. This happens over and over, and nobody (not even me) can prevent people from doing what people will do. I've seen this time and time again as 'alternate' bonneville sites have sprouted up over the years. It'* as predictable as snow in Alaska.
Andy, good to see you. Most active members took a hike to another forum when Peter Davis raped what we had. Niceguy just bought the forum from him.
It'* been a long and dreary road, but yes, the dust is settling.

As I said on the phone, my interest is in the forum. I don't need it to make money as I explained to you, my motives are different than Peters. If it makes $1 / year but can sustain itself, perfect.
It'* ultimately about the community and while any site this large in nature does generally requires revenue generation to sustain itself, I am certain it will survive even if it doesn't make any money.
The staff (in the future) will have to do what it takes to look after the assets, the forum. Even if that means feathers are ruffled now and then, I think we know William that sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet
As for Peter, I don't think it was easy street for him when dealing with so many personalities and opinions. But I think from here on in we should look at a fresh start and leave the Peter talk for email chatter. It'* a new beginning, past is in the past.
Glad to see you're here

Nick told me you were here toying with the population.
I'm just here to watch...
Besides I've had 3 very memorable experiences with Bonnevilles...
1. In highschool I've test driven a brunette in the back of an 88 or 89 sse...
2. In about 00 or 01, I was at my buddies bodyshop and he showed me how to pull the roof out with a frame puller on a '97. His cousin nailed a post head on, which fell on the roof from the front. We did such a good job, the car was as straight as an arrow after... (maybe not so much but it was close) lol
3. We shot a short movie in 2002 with an '02 ssei po-pack... drove it around the neighborhood with the lights on etc etc
I heaven't been in contact with a Bonnie since '02 I kinda miss 'em...

Whoa, time to make my brief entrance here.
I'm not sure how many of you remember me, my posting is somewhat sporadic because most of my time on the interwebs seems to be spent policing another forum and monitoring uploads, though thankfully, with the addition of some new staff I may be able to lurk and post around here more. Anyway...
Because of that, I missed the whole fiasco and I genuinely have no clue what'* going on, other than the site is all new and under new management. Last I remember was getting an email from willwren a couple of months ago about a fallout at the old forum and a link to another (possibly this one) requesting members to join, so I did. Then I got busy again and didn't visit until well, yesterday.
So I'm quite a bit confused, but glad to see the site is still here, with all the old posts even. Good work to the new admin for that one.
Things seem to be a lot slower understandably, but that should change as time goes on.
I'll be around, maybe I'll pick up what happened along the way. In any case, if you remember me hello, if you don't that'* understandable and mayhaps that will change in the months to come.

I don't think you missed much, or atleast much of what people desire. Politics, greed and pride seem to have gotten in the way and the site literally started ripping apart at the seems.
I am happy to see that many members are returning and things will continue on what should be as normal a path that it can be.
It is an exciting time as we actively recruit new moderators and admins and further enhance the forum.
Cheers!

And, should you ever find yourself in need of a rent-a-cop, I do have experience.
