If I could have it back, I would

I had a 94 Escort LX hatch that I would love to have back. Bought for $500, in decent shape. Had the 1.9L and 5 speed. Averaged almost 40 mpg. Was flooded in 06 over the roof, so I didn't have much say in that. That blue pole barn in the background was mine too, when I lived there. I had room in there for 3 cars plus tools and my Suzuki GS550. I really miss that garage more than I miss the cars!
Though I do wish I had my 96 Astro AWD. At the time, I had that and the Escort, but the Escort needed work to pass inspection. My GF at the time was almost 2 hours away, so driving the Astro was killing me in gas money. So I traded it in on my Cruiser, which was much better on gas, and I like it. But, the GF and I went our ways not too long after that, and I only had a 20 minute drive to work then. With the money I spent, I could have fixed up the Escort and kept and paid off the AWD. Only thing wrong with the van was it probably was on its way to a trans rebuild at 125k, and I had 2 bad accidents with it, so driving it made me nervous of things breaking. (Shear off all 5 studs on the drivers side rear wheel, going 65mph on the interstate will make you nervous about every bump, wiggle, whine, noise, etc after that experience!)
But days like today.. 4" of fresh snow with a good .10" of ice on top, living on top of a hill... wish I had her back for days like this.
