Default Call out to other Computer Geeks...

Ok i know there is something out there for this, i just forget what its called or where to look.
I want to use Flash Memory, SD or what not to Plug into Sata or IDE so i can use it as a hard drive.
I want to try installing windows on it.

Any one have links or a brand/name ?

yeah i dont want to do something like that
I want to use it as a regular hard drive in one of mt PCs, cuz it will load VERY fast

hmmm heres an idea that might work you could pop in the windows install cd and just chose the directory of the usb.

i know that my motherboard will allow me to boot off of my internal flash reader that is on one of the USB connections. I imagine that if i can boot off of "G drive" for exaple that is a CF card, that i could write an autoexec that would boot windows from the card

i don't want to run it off USB.

I know iv seen different type of Sata or IDE things like that.

That youy just put in some SD flash memory or something..
