H e l l in a handbasket!! This is so sad that this is happening. When I was in school the worst thing we did was talk or chew gum. Now the kids have to fear for their lives. I think it is the parents lack of participation in their kids lives and not knowing who they are hanging around with, what sites they are viewing online, etc. Parents need to monitor what their kids are doing. That is just my 2 cents on this situation.

I have to agree with Tracy (non-moderator one), IMO, the parents aren't involved in the kids' lives, even if they are, it'* probably not enough. I've heard of some families calling their kids via cell to tell them that dinner'* ready then they all go apart after getting their food. The parents don't question them enough, such as "Who'* your friend, where'* their parents, phone number, address, curfew...etc" Now it'* just call once in a while. For some kids who'* actually mature "the call me once in a while" route will work fine but nowaday, most kids aren't. Basically, the parents need to be hanging out with the kids, do what the kids like (for example if your daughter enjoy shopping, go shopping with her, if your son enjoys racing, take him racing) And as alway, "NO" from a kid is his way of telling you "Yes, I want you there"

bad parents.

new punishment: for every kid your kid kills, we slice off one of your fingers after pulling the fingernail out.

kinda lax, but hey. tack onto that a prison sentence plus instant euthanasia of the kid doing the murdering and suddenly, youll have good parents.

we need to take a more hands-on approach to evolution. remove the bad parents from the gene pool and itll get better.
