Gran Turismo 3 IA Ticense Test
The one with the Lancer in Tokyo R246 and the Zonda in Rome are the worst tests I've ever seen. I'm a vet of some GT1 and all of GT2, so the other license tests went like butter. I even did the Laguna Seca with the Viper in the first full shot because I foolishly expected the car not to understeer. The first time I tried it, I quit before the first turn was over, and I tried it again, and voilą! So, why am I having trouble with these two? I suspect there'll be further problems with the last two tests.
The game tells you the last test is difficult. That'* terrible!
I hate the Zonda test so much that I set my cell phone on the controller and an empty glass on top of that. It'* about 7 minutes now that the Zonda has been revving way over 6K rpm and into the 7s with its brand new Mercedes V12. I want this car to blow up, but it just can't! But I hate this test so much.
Also, I wonder if the game considers RPMs, running times, and so on over mileage for the oil changes. I've been doing mine every sub-100 miles or so! My hypothesis here is that the Zonda will be less powerful after 2 hours of constant revving. Sorry, I can't save the replay. Can someone help me out? I'm having trouble following Gamefaqs.

oh geez, I haven't played GT3 for so long... I know I got around 90% completion (the last 10% are specific model races) and I remember when I BARELY passed super. I believe I ended up getting all silvers on IA, but the thing is that I used to LIVE and BREATH that game . Just keep on keeping on, young padawan...

I am trying. I might be missing an R2 button now, but I'll just drive auto or something. So, thanks for the link. It talks a lot about wall riding, so I'll try that now. I've lived and breathed GT2, but GT3 is far more annoying. I think GT2 is so far the best in the series, and I own GT4 to be able to say that. Granted, GT4 has the Buick GNX, but GT2 has muscle cars (and more cars). I don't know why I'm on 3. But oh well. I'm going to complete it!

I started with GT3 myself, and then downgraded to GT2, then back up to GT4. I'm saving up 500 bucks for GT5
Oh, and one thing that made GT4 a lot more fun than any of the earlier ones was my wheel. I have a Logitech Driving Force Pro (that'* sadly gathering dust waiting for GT5) with life-like force feed back. It'* incredibly fun.

Yes... These things happen. I just in the past 5 months or so got my PS2 from eBay, so I might wait a few years. Is there a definite car list yet? If there'* a Bonneville, I'm going broke.

There'* no definite car list that I know of, but there should be around 700 cars to choose from. I highly doubt the Bonneville will be on the list, sadly, since it'* not widely recognized as a performance car. The Grand Prix might, but that'* also doubtful, since there hasn't been a wide choice of modern domestic cars in the past, but who knows, that might change... There has been NO news of it what-so-ever in the past six months, so I'm anxiously waiting for the next bit of news on it...
