Meh, I never really liked Dell'*, even though the guy who started it (Michael Dell) went to my high school. I always preferred to build my own (read: watch as my friends build one for me). Better parts for a lower price. But its still a really nice computer you have there.

As an IT Manager for my company I only purchase Dells. The only complaint I had was when they outsourced the support overseas. We now buy what is called "gold support"; it guarantees a level of support and gets us a "state side" technician.

Congrats on the purchase, just in time for Doom 3!

Same here. And as IT manager for my company, I only go with Norton Anti-Virus. McAfee and AVG, and a few others have been subpar in my experience. The only time McAfee came out with a definition before Norton was with the Nimda virus, and only by about a half an hour.

That is a very nice computer!!

Agreed. I paid $80 for it though. I am going to upgrade here shortly, though. My SWG (StarWarsGalaxies) has issues with it...

For some reason Dell only gave me one choice for a video card on the 8400... oh well I am sure that it will do more than suffice. I don't do games that often... but I do plan on buying half-life soon...
